Inside Kavalier's quarters, the ocular being demonstrates its extraordinary mental capacity. After the CEO scribbles the starting digits of pi—3.14—on his hand, he challenges the creature to give the next digits.

Answering, the entity presses out the correct numbers before making a mess on the surface. What seems like a moment of lightness quickly transforms into something unnerving as the creature proceeds bleating with clear menace.

Even, Kavalier's stoic assistant, Atom, expresses his worries about the situation. "Leader, I must restate my reservations," he says. "If this creature were to escape and spread within the people—"

A Sinister Experiment

Rather than heeding the warning, Kavalier sees it as a suggestion and states that he wants to find a human to "offer" to t. ocellus.

"You are right, we should… absolutely, we should switch it into a living being," Kavalier remarks. "A person who talks and has bodily functions."

While the chapter doesn't reveal who Kavalier has in consideration for this macabre trial, a lot of viewers are hoping that the man himself might be the candidate. Ultimately, fans is curious to learn what this monster has to say.
